The Making of a Basic Cami Top with Layered Detail

The Making of a Basic Cami Top with Layered Detail

Hi folks
In todays video I am showing how I made the cami top I mentioned in my July plans. I added a layered piece to give some interest to the basic design and I love how it turned out. I also tried out rolled hems, sewn on the overlocker, for the first time and they turned out super nice. This one, just like my last make is super quick and easy to make, takes very little fabric and is perfect to wear in beautiful hot weather, love it💕💕💕
Theres only one note I would add, if you’re going to give a cami a go yourself, is to stay stitch the neckline as I’ve made another version in a viscose fabric and the neckline stretched a little 😧😍…..

Anyway I hope you enjoy
Susanne ❤️

Fabric – Poly Koshibo – I hadn’t heard of this fabric before, it feels and looks like lightweight crepe. I’ll try to give a bit of an update on how the fabric wears and washes once I’ve tested it out a bit more.

Marking Pen I usually use – Prym Trickmarker EF
My Sewing Machine – Brother innovis F420
My Over Locker – Brother 1043d
